Job Duties of an Onboarding Specialist

New Hire Communication

  • Send welcome emails and onboarding information.
  • Serve as the main contact before start date.

Setup and Configuration

  • Set up company email accounts and IT systems.
  • Configure workstations, phones, and office equipment.
  • Ensure software and access permissions are granted.

Orientation and Training

  • Conduct orientation on company policies and office rules.
  • Train new hires on the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other tools.

Documentation and Compliance

  • Complete and file all required paperwork.
  • Maintain compliance with policies and legal requirements.

Performance and Feedback

  • Monitor initial performance of new hires.
  • Gather feedback on the onboarding experience.
  • Provide support for smooth integration.

Collaboration and Coordination

  • Work with HR, IT, and other departments.
  • Coordinate with team leaders to align onboarding with department goals.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Stay updated on best practices and industry trends.

Sourcing

  • Recruiting profiles for internal hires (US recruiters & account managers).
